Shale Gas Hearing Tuesday, March 27

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) will be holding the second public hearing on the draft fracking report in Chapel Hill on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at East Chapel Hill High School Auditorium, 1709 High School Rd. Following are details for the Chapel Hill hearing:

WHERE:  East Chapel Hill High School, 500 Weaver Dairy Rd., Chapel Hill (map)

WHEN:   5:30 p.m. - Speakers allowed to sign up to make comments

                6:00 p.m. - Sierra Club rally outside of the school

                6:30 p.m. - Public Hearing begins
